BioSamantha Capper was born in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. Her father is an English pure-blooded wizard from the Lakes District, and her mother is an half-blooded Irish witch from Killarney. Her maternal grandparents bought her parents a home in the wizarding village in the McGillicuddy's Reeks for a wedding present.
Some of her happiest childhood memories were from the Puck Fair in Kilorglin, where she managed to score pints of Guinness from the drunken barkeeps. Though, the first few times, she managed to make herself sick. But, she soon got the hang of drinking. It also didn't hurt that her grandparents own a pub in Killarney, where, when she'd gotten old enough, her granny had sat her up at the bar and taught her the proper way to drink a Guinness.
She also tries to get home twice a year for the Morris Dances in her parents' village. She's even danced in one. It's quite an honor to be chosen. The last three years, though, her attendance has been spotty at best. She can't see it getting any better in the immediate future, though.
She's a rabid fan of Quidditch. He favorite team is the Kenmare Kestrals, whose pitch is a very convenient short broom ride from her parents' village. When she and her friends in Ireland play, she generally plays Chaser.
She started Hogwarts in 1989 with Fred and George, and tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team in her second and third years, but wasn't good enough to play. She still went to every match. Academically, she didn't do too badly on her tests, except for care of magical creatures, which she didn't do so well in, and Divination, in which she scored a T.
After leaving Hogwarts, Samantha joined the Aurors. She is currently in her third year of training, and is getting ready to graduate from the program. She's looking forward to getting her pip and not having to fill out her mentor's month-end reports.
